Description: Painting a scary halloween landscape with an old abandoned house in oils. See examples below. We will explore different options in class to enhance the eerie mood of the painting: adding a full moon in the sky or a glowing light in some of the windows. The individual participants will be able to modify the painting according to their taste.

Description:

Kevin Dodds  invites you to an exciting Paint Night: ”Summer Memories”.

With this acclaimed artist and teacher, you will spend a wonderful evening painting an enchanting ocean scene complete with a beach and sea shells. You will learn how to use acrylic mediums to create sand texture and paint ocean waves.  You will leave with your own masterpiece to proudly display. Snacks and beverages will make this evening even more fun! All supplies will be provided. The only thing you have to bring is your enthusiasm.

DISCOVERING ACRYLIC MEDIUMS
This workshop will combine demonstrations and lots of hands-on practice with the mediums listed. Students will need to bring one or two paintbrushes and a standard palette knife (plastic ones are fine). All other materials will be supplied. Participants will create a number of works of art during the workshop. Don’t miss out. Sign up today!
