INTRODUCTION TO PASTEL: JUNE WORKSHOP WITH MARGARET FERRARO AT KEVIN DODDS GALLERY

This workshop introduces the novice to many applications techniques using pastel, while we study these techniques in works from all over the world. We do a little colour theory, more technique in terms of layering, working dark to light, talk about edges, composing, observation of others’ artwork. The student will leave this 2 day workshop with a healthy beginning to their pastel  experience that will allow them to work on their own.
